New and improved core values

Written by Elise Matthews

I’ve spent a lot of time recently thinking about our company’s core values and how to re-word them so they are more than just fancy words on the wall.

I thought long and hard about all of the things that bother me with gyms, training, trainers, clients, and anything else that goes with the fitness industry.  Then I worked through all of the things that we strive to do differently here at KORE Wellness.  From there, I wanted to come up with not only a list of things that we focus on and you should expect from us, but also a list of expectations that applies equally to our wonderful clients!

I think entering into a mutual agreement where we are both striving equally to help you keep hitting your goals and using the KORE values as our “rules of engagement” brings clarity as well as helps to manage expectations.

As most of you who have been part of the KORE family for a while know, we do things differently.  KORE Wellness is not for everyone, but for those who consider KORE their “chosen family”, the differences are what endears you to KORE.  It is my hope that as you read through how I’ve re-worked our core values, that many of these will resonate with you.  These are things that we as a community strive to embody on a daily basis. Not that we have achieved them, but that we value in making an effort to improve upon them.

Over the next 5 weeks, I will break down each of our core values and how they might apply to you on your journey towards better health.
