This year for summer school, our focus is on improving balance. For summer school, we try to keep things simple and doable from anywhere your summer travels might happen to take you. Standing in neutral posture exercise
Week 2: Re-establishing Foundations:
Core (quadruped practice)
Glutes (wall bridge)
Stride stance (unilateral stance practice)
Week 3: Re-establishing Foundations continued:
Spinal Mobility: Cat/Cow
Thoracic spine stability (wall retractions)
Spinal stability: modified plank practice
Week 4: Balance Practice:
Single leg balance at wall
½ kneeling tandem practice
Standing eyes closed at wall
Week 5 Balance Practice:
Standing Tandem practice
Standing bridge rocking
3D reaches holding wall
